I agree with BlindNsect that location is an issue. Different towns have different atmospheres about them. I find alternative people are more common and accepted in cities but in small towns they're not and still get the typical jeers from the ignorant. Then there was that horrible incident last summer of the goth girl who was killed by some chavs. :( Nothing's changed really. People are still ignorant. Either they still believe the whole goths are evil bollocks or they think we're whiny emos. People don't like those who are different. It doesn't matter in what way you're different there are always those who are going to be prejudiced towards those who are different. ::another psychology graduate::
