The only unifying theme I have found so far is that all things gothic seem to be concerned with what current civilization is failing to provide. Gothic styles at times seem to warn about patterns that lead to death. I am inquisitive about all thungs goth to find ways of being part of sustainable civilization. In being part of civilization, all people have influence in determining what the outcome of that civil society will result in whether survival or death. No matter how grand or vast or modern the society, the choices come down to survival or death. The kind of person I want to be is a disciple of discipline. Discipline is the basis of all things learned. Discipline is the basis of all thing profitable. Even suffering is a form of discipline exacted by the nature of all to apply guidance.
