I miss the days when this board brought meaning to my life. I realize how that might sound, but keep in mind that this was before I started clubbing. That was at the time that I was exploring internet radio for music. Back when Spinner dot Com had more variety in their Gothic channel before it was bought out by Netscape then AOL and now CBS Radio at AOL. Or, something like that. It's funny how I found the music, art, and literature before I found the clothing. Even funnier, how I can still remember one of the first times listening to Goth music with the lights off while lying down with my eyes closed, and I could swear I could smell the colour black. Oh, yes, I still remember it all. Sometimes, I still get the same feeling if I think hard enough. But, my club doesn't smell the same and the "friends" I thought I was making have moved on or turned a back on me for one reason or another. Has Goth been kind to me? Not any more unkind than your average normie that listens to hip-hop or whatnot. Personally? Yes. I would say it's been kind on a personal level. It has, as with this board, enriched me in ways that still hold true to this day. It has also helped me to view the difference between what is fake and what is real and not just in those who think they are "dark at heart." And, better still, I found a girlfriend who also has a cute obsession with things "Nightmare Before Christmas." That might be my biggest success story because we celebrated our third anniversary of dating near the end of August of last year. Anyone who actually knows me knows that love and the heart are my most desired quest in life. Without that, the mind and its intelligence means almost nothing. So, yes, my answer to your question is that. Yes. I suppose most of you might have guess that by now.
