: I guess I should not totally class myself as a : goth Wise move. I have noticed that among the few "goth" people I actually know, none of them call themselves that. Of the ones who do use the term, almost all are . . . let's just settle for "something else." I started to use the term posers, but that seems a little harsh. : I've always had a passion for cemeteries, : old houses, and I've driven antique cars : almost exclusively. Cemeteries are nice, and I go to one or two frequently for thinking, writing and photography. Of course, at age 58, I have found my "passion" for them turning into something else altogether. : use of a set of hearses When I was 18 and a senior in high school, I took a part time job in a funeral home. Yeah, I have driven quite a few hearses, loaded with even more caskets. Which themselves were loaded as well. And got PAID for doing it. : my dark angel shirt Just curious about this one: Is the angel playing a flute (?) made of bones and sitting over a silver bowl with human hearts in it? Mine was purchased at a real "gothic" store in Salem, MA, and came with a complimentary copy of "Nosferatu" on DVD. Thank goodness for expired copyrights! I like to wear it to scare heck out of the little kids (I drive a school bus) and give a little grief to sanctimonious adults. : Besides, as long as fat bald men who look : like bean bag chairs can consider themselves : attractive Hey, I'm not fat!! : good humor is what it is all about What twaddle! Everyone knows 'the hokey-pokey' is what it's really all about. Good post. Reminiscent of the pold days when this board was active, and a post like this would have drawn 20 replies. Of course, 16 of those replies would have been flames, but still. . . Old Grey one of the creepy ones
