Ah, that was really nice of you Tass. I always thought Alicia wrote these posts to encourage relevant discussions, but what if there’s really a Slovakian goth looking for a connection?
Speaking of pretentiousness…I chuckle when I think what you would say about the South African goth scene. I always thought goths had a certain nobility about them, but here the scene seems to be contaminated with silly kids trying too hard. The pose at gravestones for their facebook photographs for crying out loud, they draw stuff with blunt eyeliner on their faces, but worst of all, they are very opinionated about what goth is or isn’t. Perhaps this is how it has always been, but what would I know, living on my island, a thousand miles away from anywhere.
