Lets see in my house we now have 3 cats:
Data Spot - named after the 'Star Trek:The Next Generation' android Data and his cat Spot. The Android character had yellow skin and eyes like my cat. Data will be 15 this fall. He is a very fat yellow tiger cat.
Dusty Rhodes - Also will be 15 in the fall (he is a month younger than Data). He is about 3 different shades of grey (with green eyes) and has a thick medium length coat. His name also comes from his fur coloring.
Dot Com - not sure of age but I think around 10 maybe. Dot was a stray that we found as a kitten. He has very long hair and looks to be a small Maine Coon. He likes computers and my mom wanted me to give him a D name like the other cats thus the name Dot Com.
In his bedroom my younger brother has a rat named J.D. (Can't remember what it stands for atm) and a dwarf chinese hamster name Chyna(the only female pet - We tend to have alot of male pets). I think he might have a fish or two still alive as well. His favorite pet was a albino rat nmed 'Twizzler' that died last year. Believe it or not he was a stray (he approached my brother outside and tried to curl up between my brothers feet for warmth). He was so tame we assume he was someone's pet before he found my brother).
In the past we have had numerous cats, a very big too playful puppy we had to find a new home for, numerous hamsters and gerbils, several different finches and parakeets, several fish, a guinea pig named Rosie that had more lives than a cat,a dwarf parrot named Bobbie that only said two words that we took in when the previous owners couldn't keep him, and a dwarf rabbit that lived in one part of our kitchen. Of course we had Igna our Iguana and a small dog (a Border Terrier/Beagle mix) that was my best friend named Maxine (Max) that we had for 16 years. I have a way with animals and as a child even had instances where I seemed to have a telepathic/empathic connection with some (including a gorilla in the zoo). While I still have a close connection with animals I seemed to have pretty much outgrow the telepathic/empathic connection to them.
