My girlfriend decided to rescue a sick iguana that was left for dead at someone's supposed reptile rescue (the guy skipped town or died?)
Anyway this Iguana was starving and super dehydrated, it is also missing the end of it's tail and one finger. It's in pretty bad shape it's got the gout and all.
But my question is what sex is it?
I was pretty sure it was female (no jowls and no head bump) but it's femoral pores look a bit big to be female.
Here are some pics, i'm wondering if being this sick would hide it's true sex.
The other thing is that my own Iguna Doc Connors (male) saw the new iguana the other day and went completely ape shit. This tantrum was no hatchett mode he was gonna kill me and the new iguana!!!! Not the same reaction he has with his love doll lol. Normally he is nicest pet I have ever owned.
They both have there own cage in different rooms so they won't fight or give each other diseases, but if it's a male I don't want to keep it in my house after it gets better.. (unless the 2 iguanas become bud).
What do you think?
BTW: the new iguana is getting better seems like eating cherries is getting rid of the gout fast.
