A little while back I asked if anyone knew how to get rid of Ants that have been plaging our house; especially near Spike. Was told to use Cinnamon and sprinkle it around where they walk. I tried it and YEA... IT WORKED. I noticed right away they sure don't like crossing over it at all. A few days later very few were around so I sprinkled more. Don't see any now.
