hurt leg help

I just noticed that my iguana Zeus is only using one of his front legs-- and is trying not to put any weight on the other. Yesterday when I got home from work he was very mellow and was just laying under his heat lamp until bedtime, so I have no idea when he hurt it. He is an older male, probably at least 8-10 years old- I'm not sure. Anyone had this problem before? Should I keep an eye on it and then make an appt with a vet if it's not better tomorrow? Thanks!
