I'm sure comparing iguanas and grandparents is a *little* odd, but I guess I agree, however, one must realize it all depends on where someone was born and raised as to what constitutes food. Just because we in america only get our protein from 5 max. sources, doesn't mean that other parts of the world do too. It's all culture, one is no more correct than another. Hindus would be outraged for stories of bulls and cows being slaughtered for meat, just like americans are outraged about stories of dogs and cats. It's still an animal, regardless of whether or not we choose to cohabitate with it or not. Just because cows aren't lucky enough to be small and super adorable doesn't mean it is any less of a life than your iguana, unless you are a vegetarian, then you shouldn't get upset about ANY animal being killed for food. It's not like he was killing them to stuff and turn into souvenirs.
