Your igg is either protective of his cage or just scared.
So it's just being defensive.
Does not seem to be really on a offensive so you just have to give him time to adjust and get to know you.
Try hand feeding him, picking him up from underneath (not from above like a hawk). If he submits to you pet him on his bumpy spots on his neck. If he is a terror when you pick him up just gently cover his eyes with your fingers and he should chill out. Just don't put him down till he calms down! Otherwise your teaching him to misbehave.
Remember Iguanas hate actually fighting they just make allot of empty threats, so just pick them up when they acting like jerk and 99% of the time they were just bluffing about biting or whipping. Just also be on your guard and wear gloves just incase they do decide to attack. But never let the iguana know your scared of him.
