I rarely have to adjust Falkor's heat because my entire kitchen is currently set to "jungle heat & humidity range" by way of devices with their own thermostats.
In his new enclosure, I want to make sure the enviroment is adequate at all times. So I've been looking into thermostats. The one suggested most is the ReptiTemp 500R, but it only controls two devices. I guess my real question here is which devices are most suitable to be controlled by a thermostat? I'm thinking, CHE and basking lamp? I would also like to install a fan of some sort, very small, just enough to keep the air from getting stale, and because Falkor loves fans. I don't believe it will hurt, because the way his current fan is set up (far far away) it moves little air and only drops the temp MAYBE by 1-3 degrees. I ha e tested with Falkor too male sure he wasn't just looking to cool off, he follows where ever the wind blows (no pun intended... Okay, maybe a lil)
Lastly, is there an adequate and affordable thermostat on the market that can handle 3-4 devices? And what thermostats/setups do you guys prefer?
