I always used sacks when I transported any of my iguanas. Duffel bags should work for your iguana.
In the car, your perfect temperature will be lots lower than your iguana's perfect temperature. Either ride at uncomfortably high temperatures or directly heat your ig as Brian says.
I'm not sure what the heat pack temperatures will be, or whether it's safe for iguanas to lie on them. And the bag will hold heat, so there is possibly chance of overheating. While you are at Walmart pick up a thermometer with a remote sensor. Put the sensor in the bag, and put the dial where it's easy to see. That will give you perfect control of your iggy's temperature by removing or adding heat packs.
