Yeah, he postures with me, but Nannette has some scary pics of the damage he inflicted on her when they were together. He gave her a nasty shiner and broken glasses once. I was fortunate to have Norm, who taught me the value of body language, before I had Sammy. And I have discovered that he is selective concerning who he likes (or simply deigns to tolerate- LOL). I've had some folks who could enter his enclosure with no issues- talk to him and take pics, and others who simply approached and he was in full intimidation mode- inflated, spikes straight up, full dewlap, mouth open, and up on his toes. So no one else touches him but me. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thank you for the compliment on his looks! I enjoy my big boy!
