Hi! A local pet store is offering "Aqua-blue" iguanas, for only $150. I've done some research and found these most likely not axanthic, but a morph that is bred for them by "Flukers." I've also read these animals lose their color with age, is this correct? If so, what is their adult color?
The store mgr I spoke with said the batch they had last year all had intestinal parasites and died. Doesn't that mean they're most likely wild caught imports?
I was told these are from a different breeder, and she personally had them all de-wormed. These are the pics she sent me of the last they had available. Does s/he loom healthy to you, or like a typical pet store animal that just needs to be rescued?
Thanks for your input.
