The new cage is a good idea. For now, keep her in her old cage. Put the new cage on the floor with the door open so she get used to it during her free-roaming sessions. Put treats on the new cage floor at the door, she might be attracted by that and stretch her head in to grab some. Give her 3 or 4 weeks of spending safe time with it.
New cages stink. Maybe you can hurry it's dissipation by running enough heat inside it to make it evacuate more quickly. I'd use 110F for four days.
Iguanas who jump down to the floor are expecting soft, jungle ground litter, for a soft landing. They slap the mulch/floor hard with their tails as they land, so a common home-jumping injury is a broken tail.
When they jump off a hutch or curtain rod onto a hard floor, that is dangerous. Landing on soft carpet is usually safe, if your ig does not have MBD.
If he always jumps from the same spot, pad the floor. He might be playing.
