looks like some damage may be occurring but I cant 100 percent tell.. might be shed.
I would make adjustments to the cage. I typically dont suggest wire mesh cages to anyone because they try to get out, poking their nose against the cage and ripping up their snouts. I basically suggest a whole new cage in the near future. Until you can get some more places in there for the iguana to climb on. Igs like it nice and high so a terrestrial designed cage doesnt work. You can find some sort of interesting wood from outside and use it.. maybe cut off y-branches.
