Hello, I have a 2 and 1/2 year old red iguana that I rescued. He's the sweetest thing ever, but lately he's been acting off. I just moved from a desert climate to a more humid mountain climate and ever since, he's been making hissing sounds. Nothing crazy, I thought at first he was just mad at me for moving him so far and into a new climate. But now the hissing is every time he exhales. He has salt discharge like normal, no gooey mouth or anything, but his appetite has dropped. He won't even eat snap peas and those are his FAVORITE. I haven't used a humidifier since I moved because I was worried it'd all be too much for him, but now I wonder if it's the cause? I want to go out and buy one tonight and put it in his enclosure but I worry it could make the possible infection worse? I have a herp appt Monday at 9am but he's literally my child and I want to make him comfortable... Anyone have an opinion on if the humidifier would help or hurt?
