Years ago my husband and I raised a green iguana from an infant to about 3.5 years old. After a tragic loss of our oldest child we had some issues and separated for a short time. My husband could not care for "spike" and he gave him away to a really good lady that treated him well. Spike was almost 4 feet long and looked good but was not very friendly. Until doing some research recently in preparation for getting another iguana I thought we had done well with spike. Now I'm afraid we did him a major injustice. I have read every word on this site, which I found very informative. I have now purchased my new reptile baby, Shylo, and hope to do better this time. I plan to be referring to this site frequently and hope to utilize the vast amount of expertise I have noticed accumulated here. I would like to thank everyone in advance as I'm sure I will be asking many questions.
