I've seen iguanas with the skin pulled over the break and sewn in place. To me that seems like a good way to prevent infection. But I don't really know.
Some believe that leaving the stump uncovered and exposed so it can dry out speeds healing.
Over the years my igs have had it both ways with no problems. Only once has a lizard needed a second amp to cure a re-infected stump. What do you guys think about choosing between these two methods?
