I recently bought an iguana from a young girl off of Craigslist, when I got the little dude he was in poor living conditions, all they were feeding him was little strands of carrots and he was laying in his feces due to poor care. The family never took him out of his enclosure basically they were scared of him so they didn't want him anymore. I've had 2 other iguanas before but I raised them from when they were babies so I never had them be agressive towards me. now this iguana charges, bites, and whips me when I get close to his enclosure or even when I'm simply putting food in there for him. I'm wondering if you guys can help me with some ways to kind of calm him down or make him less agressive.
