The one thing that most pet owners hate to experience, the death of a beloved pet. Three months ago I purchased a 4 month old green iguana. Now of course he was skid dish and that was to be expected however after trying to get him used to me handling him for 1 month he never got used to me so I requested from the seller if he would exchange the iggy and he agreed. So he gave me a small baby green Iggy and I took him home and gave him a 40 gallon tank with mesh on top of the tank with all the lighting he needed.Temps were 75 to 80 digrss at night and 89 to 96 degrss in the day. Now I must note that both Iggys had to be force feed for some reason they would just not eat. My second baby iggy started to become lethargic and seemed to sleep 24 hours a day and was always out of balance as if it suffered from extreme Vertigo. I asking myself if I should just give up the dream of owning this type of wonderful pet. Please, some one help me.any advice will be greatly appreciated!
