AFIK, interestingly, iguana experts and regular ig pet owners never have said anywhere I have read, and I read a lot, that:
(1. other creatures do not need UVB even if they eat animals. But some come close to that. What they DO say is that:
(2. Iguanas need UVB, and they proved it. Those two statements are not the same.
In fact, I bet we all know that humans benefit from a certain amount of UVA-UVB on our skin.
