Hey guys. For about two months now, my iguana has become very aggressive, posturing at me after her bath when she gets into her room and more recently bit my toe when she came up onto my bed and a few days ago took a sizeable chunk out of my finger which landed me in the ER for a couple hours. I let her free roam the room, but she has a change in the closet that's home base. Houses her water, UVB and heat with a basking shelf. She's has this setup for years now, but within the last three months, she's been able to free roam 24/7. Before that, it was occasionally as I didn't have the room to safely allow for it. When she comes into my "our" room, she postures up sideways and runs under my bed, eventually making her way to her cage, where she then comes out shortly after to eat. She eats about a bag of arugala and escarole mixed a day, some days half a bag. She's healthy, about 4 foot nose to tail, about 6 lbs. I live in CT, so I don't know if this has anything to do with breeding? Whatever it is, she's becoming difficult to handle. She's just over 4 years old. Any ideas?
