As a lizard mom of 24 years, I can say both my girls have had these, and it has never been a problem. I've had fantastic vets who also were not concerned. You'll find different lizards have different skin traits. My first girl would have some scales with lines through them, and over time they would become new scales. My girl that I have now, I got from a rescue, and she has white patches of scales. Her vet figured it was likely how she happened to develop scar tissue, and sure enough, after she was spayed, parts of her scar from that are white.
