The problem is 1. my iguana is extremely aggressive, and 2. his entire cage is made of wood with small crevices in it.
SO- I read and read and read about cleaning the cage and iguana but I don't know how to go about it. It would be very hard to give him a bath in Betadine because he goes under water and freaks out in the bath (gave him his first a few weeks ago), I can barely hold him let alone put baby oil on him or get him to a vet.
ALSO his entire cage is made of wood so how do I clean it? I keep reading that using the solution of bleach and water is very bad because he will breathe in the fumes after the wood has bleach on it. Also on the bottom of his cage is tile- do mites get under there? I don't even know how I would remove the tile.
I don't understand how this happened- I haven't changed ANYTHING in his cage and all of a sudden he has these.
I am so stressed and worried, can anyone please offer some advise. Thank you so much.
