He is allowed free roam in my reptile room, which is kept at 70 F and 70% humidity. He has a basking perch next to a window which ranges anywhere from 70-90. Every morning we have coffee together out on the patio, which is enclosed with screen for his safety as I live in a very rural area, however in the morning sun still shine through to his favorite spot. He is fed a large variety of foods. This morning he was offered: collard greens, turnu green, dandelion leafs, kale, spring mix, and spinach, fruit was strawberry, papaya, mango, and blue berries, and veggies were cactus pads, sweet potato, green beans, bell pepper, spaghetti squash. He has an appetite and tries to eat, however, because of his recessed jaw he has a hard time picking up his food and refuses to be hand fed. He'll eat next to my hand, but not out of it. If he cannot get it in his mouth, he licks at whatever juices he can get.
