A live tree in that space would be too small to support and iguanas weight. Your best bet is to find a big thick branch preferably with a Y branchoff, and use a good hunting knife and debark it. Cut some notches in it for grip or wrap some rope around it. People are getting rid of unwanted tree debris on craigslist.. or you can find something in a forest area. Speaking of rope.. if you find some nice thick rope you can braid it to make it thick for climbing.
Another cheap and effective thing is to buy some el cheapo 2×2 boards and make ladders out of it. Just need screws or nails and something to cut wood with.
