Need to rehome my iguana to a loving owner who can offer him a thriving free roaming environment .
I'm a Brit in Kuwait ... I'll admit I'm not passionate about reptiles but have grown to love mine.
I rescued him from the trash bin.. They are animal lovers here, he was a child's fad bought from an open market, kept in a shoebox under their bed until discovered by their mum who then decided 'bin'.
He ( or maybe she... Now named Jeffries) was only a few months old, had worms, grey coloured and had a ripped tail, broken and missing toes and broken ribs due to rough handling.
I took him coz I couldn't bear watching the cats eat him.
1 year and half later and many vets visits later he is healthy.
Problem is I live in company 1 bedroom apartment on the 8 th floor, little daylight and the no views.
Despite being fed correctly ( and eating better and healthier than me), right temp, right amount of UV as he is getting bigger I know he is bored and seems to be getting more and more depressed.
Rehoming here is not an option , zoos etc are disturbing , lots of expats animal lovers here but we generally leave after a few years and no one likes him : (.
I change my job in August and the accommodation will be smaller again.
Can anyone help... He is lovely and friendly and deserves a better life than this
