I'm a teacher so finishing my contract for this year in 23rd June so have to give up my apartment and go back to UK. Luckily I've made arrangements for him to be looked after here till I get back in September.
Might be an added complication though, Had a shock this morning the end of his tail seems to be dying.. Just about 2 . inches. From researching it.. Could it be dry gangrene. He's had loads of injuries when I got him and his tail completely grew back. I've phoned every vet ( the usual one who helped me treated him has gone back to UK permanently ) her replacement is out the country till Wednesday . No other vet will treat reptiles. It's broken abit at end.. Looks like it will snap off... Ive bathed the open bit in iodine and antibiotic cream. Is there anything else I can do to stop it spreading etc till she gets back?
