Thank you for your insight. I would say the dent is at least 1/8" deep. I tried to send a photo but I can't get it to work as a URL. Also I got him a shorter cage- and put limbs out of the top of it so he is not splayed out all the time. He will not eat when put IN his cage, so I let him live on top. He hasn't shaken since Mother's day at the vet when they gave him a calcium shot and I sprinkle calcium on his food now, I did know to do that, I was so concerned with feeding him fresh things I missed the need for EXTRA calcium. The last few days his appetite is better then ever, but his gum looks awful. He'll let me touch it though so I'm not sure it is painful-yet? Thank you again.
