So my local "exoctic" pet shop haa a juvenile red iguana. I went in there actually looking for bulbs for my green iguana and noticed him in the corner inside of a cage. I only looked because i seen him moving but there was no light on him at all. After looking inside i asked why he was so skinny. The reply i get, "because the little f**cker wants to be hand fed and i dont have time for that". I am a part of numerous blogs and talk forums for iguanas from people all of the world, being that i am a somewhat new owner (7 months) of one that i took from a family member which was not properly caring for her. They have his price listed at $55, which isnt expensive but i have talked him down to $35 being that they are not properly caring for him. But my question is does anyone have any suggestions on me bringing him home? I have an extra aquarium that can be setup in a different room closed off from my green baby (she roams the house a few hours a day). Ive been told to completely avoid contact with both until i can get him to a vet.
