I doubt there is a set length of time you need to worry about temps being exactly "right". A day in the rain forest probably doesn't start out at 95 to 100° (maybe it does?), starts cooler and warms up.
The temps you are aiming for is to aid digestion. Iguanas seem to process their food better st these desired temperatures. So, if you can aim for these temps to be optimal by the time food is consumed, and then for several hours afterwards, I'd say you are doing well.
