We have two aqua blues. They are about a month apart in age and the one I'm concerned with is 9mos old. Both iguanas are in identical setups. We have a large front opening tank. We use reptisun 100w UVA/UVB on the warm side (85-90 degrees) and 75w heat lamp(75-80 degrees) on the cool side. We also use monsoon automatic misters that keep them at 60-70% humidity. He is not lethargic, eats well. He is on a diet of a mixture of different greens (collars, mustard, turnip) and different veggies made up of mostly squash( all different types) snap peas, parsnips carrots etc. The older iguana (despite a rough start) is great and actually large for his age. The problem I am having is that the 9month old will not grow. He is only 51g. I have used reptiboost several times at the vets recommendation. The vet I use is one of only a few in the area. The only thing she has suggested is that he may never get any bigger. She says that he is too small to extract blood to complete a blood work analysis, but his bone density looks great and is otherwise a healthy iguana. I am worried about the little guy because I know that aqua blues are more susceptible to problems. Is there anything else that may be going on, or anything else that I could do?
