Happy that he has a new forever home, and will be pampered and given excellent care.
Just thinking... I'm not sure that if I brought a new adult ig into my house that I would give him space and alone time.
He may take this time to decide that his new location is HIS territory and may need defending.
I (opinion only) would keep in confined to one location / room at the get go but keep entering the area (often) to show that it is your space too.
Don't give him the chance to become the king and guardian of his new world.
Go sit in there and read a magazine or talk to him to establish that is your space as well.
Hope that you post more on how he acclimates to his new home and what kinda boy he is.
Welcome home Edgar. You won the iguana lottery!
