Our dog got a hold of the iguana and killed it just now. The last I saw her, she was on top of her tall cage, munching on greens. I was only feet away, working on drywall in the hallway when it happened. And unfortunately it had to have happened when I was vacuuming up some dust, as I didn't hear a thing. It was my son's pet, but I love iguanas, too, so I loved that thing just as much. I'm really upset, and mad at myself. The dog and iguana have been around each other several times before, and while there was curious sniffing and resulting tail whips to the face, it never got beyond that. Until this time. And she was just starting to really grow into a beautiful large iguana. Sad.
I told my son and he is ready to get another one. However this time he wants a red iguana. Are they any different from the green ones?
