The numbers don't alwasys mean anything, He refused to eat on his own and his tongue and mouth looked blueish gray to almost yellow at times. When I fed him he would work the food back out of his mouth and refuse to eat it.
His numbers did come back fine with the exception of elevated calcium...originally the vet thought gout but after an ultrasound of the kidneys we could see how small they had become.
That said , theres a lot of things that can go out of whack before the liver is in obvious failure that throw off test results.
It sounds like she is taking your smoothie quite easily and getting fluids that way. That is good.
I guess the biggest issue with these guys is that they are already so sick before we even have a clue :/
I am not saying Spike is having the same issues as mine did, just something to compare too. I wish now that I had recorded the entire visit because I never remember everything they tell me.
I do hope your upcoming vet offers some resolution or atleast an explanation if there is no hope.
