So good news is I have force fed her before and with success. I've been able to jam some butternut squash in during this time and usually after I force some in she will willingly eat some more then drink but not poop. And once in the past I force fed her because she hadn't eaten for a week or two after having eggs removed and I was worried about her. So we are somewhat familiar with this.
We saw the vet yesterday and they took blood and said it would probably be until after Christmas to get the results so in the meantime I'm supposed to bathe her twice a day and he told me to feed pumpkin baby food. I picked some up with a syringe omw home (which my baby was crying the entire car ride because he hates the car) and now that I got him down for a nap I can try and feed her.
I'm doing my best. I love my iguana. I hope she bounces back as she's only 10 (almost 11) and I planned to have her for at least 20 yrs. She's my little princess and right now is a very trying time and seems like everything is just piled on at once. But I'm resilient and strong and loving and I'm going to take care of both of my babies. Sorry if I'm over sharing I just don't want you to think I'm sitting over here saying hmm she hasn't poop... an #### it.
Ok I will keep you posted.
