In a previous discussion below about advice for iguanas who are aggressive during breeding season, an individual told me his vet suggested providing his iguana with small dosages of melatonin. I think it is a great idea and it makes sense. But then I began to think of other natural remedies that could be beneficial to calming an aggressive iguana such as putting lavender oil into an iguana humidifier. Or even cannabis (maybe oils or some type of stuff that they make now). I am just trying to think of proactive ways that could potentially help the safety aggressive iguanas and their owners and have not attempted any of these. Just curious if anyone has tried either of these three remedies with their iguana? And if so, what was the effect?
