Hi everyone,
My ig is 7 months old and as far as I know, has normal growing patterns. I know that it might be still early for the gender question, but lately I've noticed its phemoral pores becoming more obvious Could the experts among you tell me whether it is a boy or a girl judging by the photos below ?...

Bright green! I am afraid to enlarge the pic, but it looks like you have chicken wire. Igs can get injured by it. Try to replace it with either plastic covered wire or mesh soon.

If its a boy it will start to grow out probably in the next 6 months. Your ig is about at that size where it will hit a growth spurt (if you havnt noticed a large one already) and then you can generally tell.. Well I shouldnt say growth spurt because do they ever stop growing like weeds? But really they hit about 8-10 months and before you know it they've doubled in size.

yep, let the little thing grow and love it. doesn't really matter except as things to do and expect. right now all it needs is your love and reassurance than you are its friend and not scary. be patient and show tiny bits of love--no kissing! wash hands afterward and keep cage really clean each day, but do things slowly around your little one. it will come to trust you and love you.
