Taming with two people

I was wondering if it's easier or harder to tame an Ig with 2 people, or makes any differnce at all?

My BF and I share Iguana duties, but I do more of the logistic stuff, he does more handling and baths. I try to handle him a couple time a week, but I'm usually dealing with the dogs around handling time.

We've had Tiger about 7 months, and we're guessing he's around a year and a half old. He's giving me a harder time than BF, not that he's all that much better for him. Is it easier to let him imprint on one person first, or better for both to work on him?

Iggy was my brother's from the time of purchase to about 6 months after that, but she still preferred me. Once I took over care, it was evident she would rather hang with me than anyone.

When boyfriend and I moved to Chicago four months ago- it took about 2-3 months for Iggy to stop hissing and extending her dewlap towards my boyfriend. She never got really aggressive just wanted him to go away. The second she'd see me- she'd come over or lower her stance.

Now four months in, my boyfriend gives her baths, takes her out and feeds her and they get along well! She still prefers me though :)

Beth, i read that they choose one person to be closer too, i am not sure how true that is; at home is the oposite - i do the handling, talking, etc, hubby does the choping veggies and cleaning poop.
I think my ig preferes me, but you wont be able to tell, unless is breeding season, then he really hates my husband:))
Try ho handle Tiger more, hand feed him, my be switch dogs/ig wth BF everyday:))
How Tiger tolerates the dogs?

So far the dogs don't pay any attention to Tiger, and they're not very active so he hasn't reacted too badly around them, but it's too early to say. One of them is very big, and insists on being where ever I am, so I make sure he's calm, or in the other room if I take tiger out.

As for hand feeding, he won't do it. He would try stuff when we first found him, but now he won't take anything. We've tried and tried, but he resists no mater who's holding him, and no matter what we offer him.

For awhile it seemed like he was better with me. Now he's asserting himself more, and the other day he even smacked his tail at me through the plexi, which he's never done.

I'll try and handle him more. It can't hurt.
