I do not think a one time occurrence would harm him. If it was fudge, I would be concerned about the chocolate factor, I know chocolate is bad for dogs, I don't know about iguanas. I remember someone posting a video about an iguana attacking/eating a wedding cake at an island wedding. He just jumped on the table and started eating. It was funny, probably the highlight of the wedding. Just be on guard, iguanas will probably eat anything. Brian has a few stories about that.

My guess is that your iguana is going to be just fine - as long as your sure the paper was all peeled away. You just dont want to make this a habbit those sugars and animal proteins are definitely not good. And as for liking it - believe me iguanas have a huge sweet tooth... Trust me he loved it. I think my igs love pizza as much as I do I have to fend one away from me every time he smells it.

Of course he ate it really fast... he knew he'd get caught. ;) What kind of cupcake was it? I would call the vet's office in the morning and ask. That's a lot of sugar at once. How big is Charlie? Maybe Stacey from TN will read this and give her input. :) Mindy Oggie, Paquita, Drago, and Reno

Its been an hour... nothing strange with Charlie. I just freaked out. Still cannot believe he ate a cupcake :)
