I most certainly think it will, yes. :) You may want to also bring them each in (especially the smaller one) to the vet, along with a fresh fecal sample. They will test for intestinal parasites, which are easily treatable. Are they both juveniles? Males will usually get considerably larger than the females, but this is not until they are already a couple of years old. What does their diet consist of and are you able to watch them each eat, to get a feel for which one is eating more? It could very well be the psychological stress of being in the same cage.
