I have been doing a TON of reading. Before getting him I did about 2 weeks of homework on the internet. After purchasing him I also bought iguanas for dummies which I have read through once and green iguana, the ultimate owners manual.I started with a 10 gallon aquarim for about the first 2 weeks after getting him home. Built his current enclosure which seemed ok for a while but am now regreting wasting the money on. I am currently working on his new, final, habitat which will be 6'x6'x31/2'. I am using a bad substrate which I have been trying to stop using but it is currently the only thing keeping the humidity levels up. I have other ideas which I am experimenting with but so far Im strikin out. Yes I do give him comercial pellets. He rarely eats them but it is helping with the vitamins and what not. He is an extremely picky eater. I give him collard greens, mustard greens, squash, green beans, kale, lettuce at times and i extreme moderation, carrots. I have tried many different types of fruit but he rejects them all. Collard greens seem to be his favorite. If its on his dish he will pick through everything and only eat that. I do use a vitamin spray on his food every other day. As far as dehydration, I dont let the humidity fall below 50. Usually around 50-70. The pics are a little hazy since they were taken with a cell phone through glass. These pics were also in order from 4 months ago to last week. He has literally doubled in size and is beginning to shed again.

Few iguana babies get as good a start as yours is getting! You picked an excellent source of trustworthy info about caring for iguanas.
Your ig has telltale lateral folds. Those are caused either by malnutrition, or by lack of enough dietry water. It's not malnutrition. When you feed the chopped/torn greens, dip them in a deep bowl of water, then immediately put them on a feeding dish. That can give him lots of extra water.
His fresh food has a lot more nutrition than the dry pellets. Let him eat fresh every day. Change to feeding only the fresh food you mention, and your ig is guarenteed to get enough nutrition.
I would get rid of the dry pellets. If your ig eats any, they will contribute to dehydration and gastro-intestinal problems. Iguanas get most or all of their water from their foods, such as leafy greens. You can wet the pellets down, and they will swell with water and last a couple of days. AFIK that is the only way to harmelessy feed them. The curse of dehydration is kidney failure, sooner or later.
Which UVB did you choose? I know you have one because of how good your iggy looks.

The UVB comes from a Zilla slimline 25 uvb 18" fixture. I do spray the pellets before putting them in and also when I mist. I also have been wetting down his fresh food. He also likes to sit on his shelf with his head up and let me spray him. What other things can I do to prevent that?

You are doing great. Keep it up, but please.PLEASE put something different on the bottom. If Steve eats it, it could kill him. It can also fight against the moisture as it draws it into the bottom. Trust us. It is bad stuff.
now, about that stuff on the tank floor...

get rid of it.
newspaper will do. Igs can eat that stuff you are using with a bad outcome.
What are you feeding him? He looks kinda dehydrated. Not store bought pellets I hope.
