My son's iguana has very sharp nails, which makes it difficult to let her hang out on our shoulders and take her around. I would love for her to interact with us more, but it always ends with lots of bloody scratches and it's painful. |
I gave her a large, flat rock for her to rest on in the hopes her nails would be dulled from climbing on it, but it hasn't really helped much. I would really like to take a tiny amount off the ends to make her nails not so sharp. Any tips on trimming back their nails? I just can't imagine them being calm while you hold their toes and clip away.
