Reason for needing a new home:
Currently on display at a public facility but we believe he would thrive in a quieter environment. Easily stressed and not able to be handled.
Describe veterinary care received, as well as known health problems:
No known health issues; has been under the care of an exotic vet for the last 2 1/2 years.
Describe the diet that has been fed:
Daily mixed salads with supplements as recommended by the vet.
Describe the living conditions and habitat of the iguana:
Screened enclosure approx 6ft x 8ft x 4ft; has basking and UV bulbs as well as access to natural sunlight. The enclosure will convey with iguana if desired.
Describe the temperament (calm, aggressive, shy, etc.):
Easily stressed/flighty; does not like to be handled.
How much has the iguana been handled?
Rarely because he exhibits so much stress.
Is your iguana house-broken?
If yes, please explain below (goes in the tub, water box, uses same area of cage, etc.)
Consistently defecates in the same area of the enclosure.
