I like Rose's and John L's input. It probably is your beard. If you are motivated enough, shave the beard to win her back. Then after a while let the five O'clock shadow show for a few months, then let it get darker for a few more months, and see if she can gradually learn to tolerate the new beard. |
Is she food motivated? Go nuts over certain treats? Try banana, bits of pizza crust, half-grapes, small pieces of melon. At first put them on a small separate plate in the habitat. Then put pieces near her when you get near to her even if she runs away. It's possible she will learn to accept treats from you that you offer on the end of a small fork. That would be a huge bonding event. (But don't hand-feed her the nutritious food you put on her plate twice/day, because she can't get enough of it that way, and it could become an unbreakable habit for her, leading to malnourishment.)
