Had a fab 24 hours in Stratford. Had a one hour drive to the hotel which was a few minutes walk to the theatre. I have to admit this was my first ever play, & as a result didn't know too much of what it was about - maybe I should have bought my program before the break! Still, I did only go because of Ger, so spent most of the time watching him rather than trying to follow the story. I couldn't stop thinking that with his black moustache & accent, how much he reminded me of Hercule Poirot! After the play I hurried out to the stage door & after a few minutes the cast started filtering out. My heart skipped a beat when Ger appeared, & I was brave enough to ask him sign the lovely photo I got from the fan club. I had my camera at the ready but didn't take any piccies, partly as I know flashes going off in one's face can be annoying. Sooo, I'm most keen to see any more photos that peeps took. I saw Ger wander off to the Thistle, then off I went back to my hotel clutching my newly-signed photo with a huge smile on my face!! I never thought I'd have the chance to see Ger, but some dreams do come true.
