Ger, as usual, was fabulous!
This show was a stand up reading of a potential play called Don't F*ck With Love. The central premise of the play was a bit bizarre, the reunion of two youg lovers juxtaposed with the story of Abelard and Heloise mixed with the use of cell phones and internet displays on screens that actually weren't there. The stage manager would read off the stage directions and describe the visuals.
Accept for Ger, the cast was young and appeared a trifle inexperienced. Now, whether the writers intended it or not, Ger played his part for laughs and got them. He played the father of one of the young lovers -- don't ask me which one, I don't remember. He was such fun to watch, as always.
Hope this helps & have a great day,
Gloria
