I'm very saddened to report that our dear friend Lynne Ackerman passed
away at 5AM eastern time the morning of Thursday, April 24, one month
before she would have turned 65. She had been admitted to the hospital
on April 12 because she was having trouble breathing, and was diagnosed
with a collapsed lung. This condition was successfully treated, and
then
Lynne returned to her sister Sheila Ziedenberg's home Wednesday where
she passed away in the night.
The funeral will be held on Monday, April 28 at 11AM at the following

After the service there will be a procession to the Pardes Shalom
Cemetery.
Lynne's family observes Jewish traditions.
The family asks that flowers NOT be sent. Donations can be made in
Lynne's name at a charity to be determined (I'll let you know).

27 at 4PM eastern time at the latest.
You could also email Susan with your ideas on music that could be
played
at the service. For example, if you know of a particular song by Gordon
Lightfoot that Lynne liked. Lynne knew Gordon long before Gordon became
famous, and remained a personal friend of his throughout his career.
